Here at Bustin Boards we have been supporting skaters worldwide for 20+ years. Being from NYC and having the constant flow of tourists, it's not difficult to meet skaters from all over the world. Every country is different and has their own unique approach to life, culture and skating.
We found a solid crew out in Bogota, Colombia that loves skating and spreading the good vibes that come from being in this skate community.
Daniel Espriella, Angelo Zapata and The Getto Sesame Street (yes, that's what he wants to be called) are three of the best people from the skate crew in Bogota. Bogota, a city with almost 13 million people in the metro area, has similarities to NYC with the huge population and excessive traffic. But while NYC sits at sea level, Bogota has an elevation of 8,600ft (2,600m). Not only do you see giant buildings in Bogota, you are also surrounded by mountains that seem to be hiding behind every skyscraper.
We sent some daensue boards out to the boys in Bogota and also hooked up the entire skate crew with extra swag to keep everyone rolling. They sent us back a nice little edit showing off their streets and displaying some of the vibes of the capital city of Colombia.
